Award for the top doctoral student of the Institute of Geography SAS

Vice President of the SAS Mgr. Martin Venhart, PhD. and prof. RNDr. Ľubica Lacinová, DrSc., Member of the Presidium of SAS responsible for education and doctoral studies, handed over diplomas to successful young doctoral students in the competition of young researchers under the age of 35 at a scientific seminar in the SAS Hall at Patrónka in Bratislava on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.

The competition, in which 23 talented young researchers from all three Scientific sections of SAS have entered, aims to support and motivate doctoral students.

The Institute of Geography SAS was represented by our doctoral student Mgr. Katarína Rišová, who finally placed 3rd in the 1st Scientific Section with the topic Spatial Analysis of Environmental Stability in the Context of Gender Inequalities.
